See a different side of Warsaw this summer with this 3.5-hour wilderness bike tour along the Vistula River. You'll cycle 14 miles (22 kilometers), almost all of it on the flat, at a leisurely pace, seeing attractions from city beaches and open air bars to the National Stadium, Warsaw's bridges, the Old Town, the Multimedia Fountain Park, and habitat for wildlife including beavers and deer.
At 2:50pm meet your guide and collect your bicycle a short walk from Ratusz Arsena' metro station, not far from Warsaw's Old Town.
You'll cruise at a leisurely pace along the river banks, covering both the east bank, rich in trees and wildlife and the west bank with its modern, trendy side. See locals sunbathing, partying, walking, enjoying concerts, or gathering around a bonfire with friends as you pedal along the river.
Along the way you'll see highlights of Warsaw city, including panoramic views of Old Town, the National Stadium, iconic bridges, and waterfront boulevards, as well as modern art and the Multimedia Fountain Park. Enjoy special events created just for summer, such as the open-air bars that spring up along the waterfront, and look for beavers and deer in the lush greenery of the east bank as you feel the cool river breeze in your hair.
The terrain is largely flat, so the cycling is pretty easy, not to mention safe and hassle-free. You'll return to Dluga Street at 6:30pm, refreshed, energized, and ready for another fabulous summer evening.
